Understory

During hikes, I spend a lot of time looking down.  The Understory series explores the lush textures of the undergrowth and forest floor of the Acadian Forest.  In person, these natural scenes are not-so-still, still lives.  They also compose unique micro-landscapes, within the larger landscapes of the forest in which they are found.  Getting closer to my subject, the Fundy Forest, has led to discovery of a whole new subject, its Understory.
